Turtle Stewardship Program Fundraiser Mugs

Proceeds from every mug sold directly support our Turtle Stewardship Program, helping protect local Snapping and Painted Turtles through nest protection, monitoring, hatchling tracking, data collection, and public education initiatives.

Looking ahead, we hope to expand the program by introducing turtle egg incubation. This next phase would help increase hatchling survival during the most vulnerable stage of a turtle’s life and allow us to support even more turtles across the watershed. Funds raised through mug sales will help build the resources and capacity needed to make this exciting step possible.

Featuring original artwork by Charmaine Jenner and Ojibwe language provided by Chastity Jenner-Keeshig, these mugs offer a meaningful way to support local conservation efforts. Mshiikennh means “turtle” in Ojibwe.

Every mug purchased helps strengthen turtle stewardship in our watershed and brings us one step closer to expanding the program to give more turtles a chance to thrive.
