Volunteer Opportunities

Inglis Falls Arboretum Alliance
The Inglis Falls Arboretum Alliance (IFAA) is a dedicated volunteer committee that plays an important role in the planning, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of the Inglis Falls Arboretum.
IFAA volunteers are actively involved in growing, planting, and caring for the trees and shrubs within the Arboretum and helping to ensure the long-term health and beauty of this unique property. In addition to their stewardship activities, the IFAA support a variety of educational initiatives, signage projects, and offer native tree & shrub sales in the fall. They also provide guided tours upon request that help visitors learn more about the Arboretum’s history, and ecological value.

FOH volunteers support the ongoing care of this unique property through hands-on activities such as the annual shoreline cleanup and boardwalk maintenance and repairs. Their efforts help protect the natural environment while ensuring safe and enjoyable access to the beach and trail systems. Volunteers also promote the unique features of Hibou Conservation Area and encourage respectful use by visitors.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
Our LIT program is designed for youth ages 13 – 15 who are eager to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience in environmental education, and help create an engaging, supportive experience for younger campers attending the Grey Sauble Day Camp.
This initiative focuses on advocating for our local turtle populations, spreading awareness about their lifecycle and the adversities they face, as well as incorporating conservation initiatives to support these threatened species.
