Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) delivers meaningful environmental education programming that helps participants connect with the natural environment and embed conservation into their lives.
Vision
Children, youth, adults, and seniors throughout the watershed learning, exploring, and working together with GSCA to protect, understand and respectfully enjoy our natural environment.
Mission
GSCA’s Environmental Education program supports healthy communities by increasing environmental awareness and responsibility, providing opportunities to connect with nature, and encouraging conservation through a range of programming available throughout the watershed. The program also fosters understanding and engagement in GSCA’s programs and services.

In partnership with the Inglis Falls Arboretum Alliance, this full-day program focuses on the grade 3 curriculum "Growth and Changes in Plants"
This program aims to teach participants about ecosystem health and conservation efforts, providing accessible, subsidized programming supported by grants and sponsorships.
Currently we are offering Watershed Management and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) elective programs as modified version of our Watershed Guardians Program, adapted to meet the learning requirements of the high school SHSM.
Collectively we explore nature-based titles, providing a great opportunity to learn more about the environment, spark meaningful conversations, and share ideas with others who are interested in these topics.
To support the success of our Environmental Education Department, we have established a sponsorship program with four distinct funding options for those wanting to support these important initiatives in Grey and Bruce!
The purpose of the Framework is to shape signature programming, to ensure all deliverables align with the vision and mission, meet specific criteria, and grow environmental education offerings in a sustainable way that reflects available resources.
