World of Trees
In partnership with the Inglis Falls Arboretum Alliance (IFAA), we offer a curriculum-based, hands-on program called “World of Trees” exclusively for grade 3 students each spring. Held at the Administration Centre and Arboretum, just south of Owen Sound, this experiential program helps students deepen their understanding of the importance of trees.
Aligned with the grade 3 curriculum, “Growth and Changes in Plants”, this full-day program starts with six educational stations in the morning. In the afternoon, students participate in a guided tour of the Arboretum and engage in planting and caring for existing trees.
To enhance the accessibility of this program, the IFAA may cover part or all of the program fees and transportation costs. If you require financial assistance, please contact us.
