This three day event in May, is hosted in Chesley for all Grade 4 students in Grey and Bruce Counties.  Over 1,400 children take part in the event exploring 45 hands-on activities learning all about water.  The event would not be possible without the assistance of hundreds of volunteers including local high school students, citizens of Chesley and committee organizations.  The Grey Bruce Children’s Water Festival Committee consists of staff from Grey Sauble Conservation, Saugeen Conservation, Sydenham Sportsmen’s Association, Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, Municipality of Arran Elderslie, Bluewater District School Board, Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, Drinking Water Source Protection and the Municipality of Brockton.
