Conducted in the natural setting at the Allen Park Management Unit west of Durham, this three day event in October is designed for Grade 7 students. They will experience: forest ecosystems, forest resource management, sustainability, biodiversity, species at risk, climate change, stewardship, etc.
The success of the Festival depends on the support we receive from our volunteers: secondary school students, industry professionals and community volunteers.
The Festival Committee Board consists of organizations that have a vested interest in educating children about managing our forests and forest ecosystems for the future.
