Every farm has a story, and many of the best stories begin with a commitment to caring for the land. The Landowner Champions featured here are farmers who have embraced environmental stewardship as an important part of their operations by implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs). Their efforts to enhance biodiversity, protect water resources, build resilient soils, and support a sustainable future are helping to strengthen the health of the Grey Sauble Conservation watershed while inspiring others to do the same.
Valleykirk Farms (BMP implemented: cover crop)
Syd and Catherine Wilkie (BMPs implemented: grassed waterway, riparian tree planting, exclusion fencing, alternative watering source)
