Stewardship Grants

GSCA applies to various funding agencies throughout the year to be able to provide financial assistance to landowners looking to do stewardship projects.

We have funding available for your farm!

Receive 50 - 75% of the project costs.

End the season off right! Planting winter cover crops adds nutrients to your soil and protects against erosion. Cover crops also help soak up water which would otherwise run off into nearby watercourses.

Excluding your livestock from watercourses benefits water quality and the health of your herd!

Providing another watering source for livestock keeps them out of watercourses, which improves water quality.

Diverts water away from animal yards and manure storage.

Hibou Conservation Area is OPEN. Grey Road 15 is closed between Owen Sound and Hibou Conservation Area which is currently accessible from the North via Leith.

Property Closures:

  • Indian Falls is closed due to flooding on the trails. 
  • Kemble Mountain Management Area (Compartment 71 & 73); Keppel Forest Management Area (Compartment 78); and Skinners Marsh-McNab Lake Management Area are closed for a scheduled forestry operations.
