The Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation was established in 1993 and is a federally registered, charitable, not-for-profit organization that raises money to assist the Grey Sauble Conservation fund programs and projects. The Foundation offers opportunities for the public to actively participate in conserving and enhancing the natural heritage that exists within the Grey Sauble watershed.
Our Mission
To raise funds and provide resources in support of Grey Sauble Conservation, its policies and activities that protect natural habitats, and its efforts to enhance biodiversity and environmental awareness.
Our Objectives
– To cultivate and encourage all aspects of nature conservation in the Grey Sauble Watershed;
– To encourage research, public education and awareness of conservation in the Grey Sauble Watershed;
- Through donated funds, materials and services, to engage in various projects to meet the objectives of Grey Sauble Conservation; and,
- To encourage appreciation of the natural environment by both residents of, and visitors to the Grey Sauble Watershed.
In addition to raising funds for the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, the Foundation operates a Memorial Forest Program and an Environment Scholarship and Awards Program.
