TREES FOR SCHOOLS
Since 2009, the Foundation has worked with the Arboretum Alliance in offering complimentary trees for our watershed schools to celebrate Earth Day or Arbour Day.
Each school receives 7 trees or shrubs, planting instructions and tending information. Applications are accepted in March each year.
The application process is as follows:
1. Applications must be received by April of each year (day tbd).
2. Schools must be within the Grey Sauble Conservation Watershed.
3. Schools receiving trees will commit to: nurturing and watering the donated trees to ensure a high rate of tree survival and telling us about your Arbour Day Celebrations by sending us your stories, photos, etc.
