Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) is working with community stakeholders and the public to develop a management plan for Eugenia Falls Conservation Area. Since the property was purchased in 1968, there has not been a management plan in place. This new plan will guide the development of several key recreational facilities and supporting infrastructure such as washrooms, picnic pavilions, parking lots, bridges, and trails. It will also provide an action plan that will balance the protection of natural and cultural heritage values with public access and meaningful visitor experiences.

Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation Awards 2022 Scholarship
The Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation awards an annual $2000 scholarship to a graduating secondary school student entering a post-secondary program in an environmental or resource management related field. The scholarship is named in honour of Malcolm Kirk, who passed away in 2012. Mr. Kirk was instrumental in acquiring a substantial portion of the lands that Grey Sauble Conservation Authority owns and manages today.
This year, the recipient of the Malcolm Kirk Environmental Scholarship is Darryl Blair, a student from St. Mary’s Highschool in Owen Sound who will be pursuing post-secondary education in Environmental Engineering at the University of Guelph.
